An adrenaline-pumping and hard-edged knockout. A strong, solid and riveting action-packed drama that's loaded with intense fight sequences, head-bashing thrills and dazzling suspense. A great story of friendship and redemption in the unlikely of places. It packs as much punch as it does heart. Steve Austin. Walton Goggins and Laura Vandervoort are terrific. They work well together showing great depth and character development. Austin proves to be an exceptional leading man in this film, giving a great performance and not trying to be anymore then what he is in this film.

Ok, who dug the abandoned Sylvester Stallone script outta the garbage in the late 80's?

Stone Cold baby..... Curse of the wrestling fan. I have to watch it because their is a wrestler in it. EDIT: Despite having a former wrestler in the lead role this is suprisingly well done, even if there are seemingly an endless supply of underground bare knuckle fighting movies doing the rounds (thanks to the UFC no doubt) this stands out from the crowd. Supporting cast are all very good and Austin does his thing too. 7/10. It's not going to win any awards but it's less brain dead than the Expendables!
