Rotten: Hits a new low in condescending facetiousness, with no fewer than 15 performers of varying talents, tongues firmly in cheeks, undercutting all the genre's action conventions while camping up a storm on two continents.

Rotten: Infuratingly lazy and insultingly smug. My choice for the worst film of 2004.

while watching these guys on film together is fun, the movie was so riddled with flaws that it was practically non-sensical. one would think, with so much talent, they would have made sure the script made more sense.

Definitely a step down from the first, but this is still a fun and entertaining caper film. I liked the general plot, that the crew has to pull off a job to pay off Benedict, but the writing needed a lot more work. Things were really convoluted, messy, and needed to be tweaked...a lot. However, the direction is still quite stylish and strong, the look and feel are slick, the performances are great, and I was never bored. So yeah, even though this was a bit of a disappointment, I still give it a slight recommendation.

A good sequel that doesn't get enough credit. It is a very different movie from the first, changing the style and story. I actually found it to be more of a Steven Soderberg film this time around. It's a really good script and plays quite nicely with the characters.
