Rotten: Lines like this are amusing, but they pop instantly, like soap bubbles.

Soapdish has the talented actors but they aren't doing much here. It offers about as much entertainment as the soap operas that it satires.

The overacting drove me crazy. There was a twist toward the end, but even that couldn't save this movie. I definitely wouldn't recommend this unless you are a devout fan of one of the cast members (I saw it because RDJ is in it).

I liked the "soap within a soap" idea, but not being a fan of soaps this film did nothing for me and made me laugh zero times.
