Fresh: It's been a long time since we've had a junky exploitation movie we could really fall for. The Fast and the Furious is that movie.
- Terry Lawson, Detroit Free Press, Friday, June 22, 2001
What can you really say about this. Sure, it's incredibly corny and unrealistic, but it's still fun and harmless. The main achievement of the movie is showing of the gorilla strength man known as Vin Diesel, you can't help but marvel at his hardcore attitude and home-made sleeveless shirts. Likewise, there is the almost inhuman acting of Paul Walker who is apparently supposed to be an FBI agent. The testosterone of this movie runs out of control, much like the NOS that fuels the cars everyone drives.
