Top Critic Reviews

Rotten: Well made but hopelessly dull...

- David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews, Thursday, June 24, 2010

Fresh: A complex, difficult, intriguing film that digs deeper than outward appearances.

- Michael Dequina,, Thursday, June 24, 2010

Rotten: Laced with a lush, foreboding sense of noirish upscale LA surroundings, but excessively detailed too much information hot sex on the menu and little psychological insight going on above character collarbones.

I wasn't very impressed. Although it's not a bad movie, it's not particularly good either. The characters lack likability and depth. The direction has no pizazz or style. Bland and uninvolving.

I liked this movie, but at the same time I really hated the lead actor (clarke)... I just couldn't stand him. On the other hand, Paz Vega... me o' my... I don't want to say she's the new Penelope Cruz (because Cruz hasn't lost a step in her game) but Paz is right behinde her... I felt alot of the stuff in here was not needed... at all. B-/C+

Personally I enjoyed it's style and adeptness. Not particularly original, but very sexy and engaging
