I think The Mummy will always have a warm place in my childhood. I don't think it's possible to watch it and not have an amazing time. The story is so cool and the characters are so unbelievably charismatic. Brenden Fraser presents himself as such a powerful human being that walks around like a blockade of pure testosterone. The sets in this movie really tend to stand out for some reason, I think it's the attention to detail and complete love for the mythology. As a action/horror, it's unmatched. There is nothing more fun than popping in the dvd and just making your day a bit brighter with this extravaganza that takes you back to a better time.
